12th Istanbul Yaşargil Microneurosurgery Course 2024

29 May – 1 June
2 – 4 June 2024

Istanbul – Turkiye

Welcome to the 12th Istanbul Yaşargil Microneurosurgery Course!

We’re excited to welcome you from May 29th to June 1st and from June 2nd to 4th, 2024, in Istanbul, Turkey.

Over the past decade, there has been a growing appreciation for white matter, leading to increased interest in fiber dissection techniques. Understanding the three-dimensional architecture of white matter is crucial for safely navigating the brain’s narrow corridors. Our goal in this course is to teach the fundamentals of fiber dissection technique, allowing participants to grasp complex anatomy and appreciate white matter tract connections.

The Istanbul Microneurosurgery Course is split into two parts and is open to not only neurosurgeons but also neuroscientists. Each participant will have their own lab station equipped with necessary surgical tools and a microscope, ensuring a comfortable working environment without the need to share specimens. To maintain this comfort, participant numbers are limited.

Welcome to an enriching learning experience that promises to expand your knowledge and skills in microneurosurgery!
