Welcome you to a new edition of the EANS Microvascular course. Where vascular neurosurgery is turning its eyes to the microvascular techniques and the need for a proper, structured, time-intensive microvascular course is needed.
In this respect, we have prepared 4 days of intense hands-on microsurgical training, with 1-on-1 mentoring. With training on all microvascular techniques with continuous improvement using tips and tricks.

The course includes teaching on all types of anastomoses as well as experimental microsurgery by those involved in microsurgical research as well as the big names you might expect, and our sterling EANS faculty.
This course takes place at the Simulation and Practical Skills Center at the “Iuliu Hatieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Cluj and is part of an ongoing collaboration on experimental microsurgery with the Erasmus MC in Rotterdam.
The skills lab facility as well as the expertise of the faculty, both local, foreign and EANS will provide you with all the tools you need in order to go back to your own center and set up a microsurgical continuous training environment.
