ISPN Meeting 2026 Scholarships

7–11 October 2026

 

To encourage younger people from low and lower-middle income countries (per World Bank classification) to attend and present, the ISPN is once again offering ISPN Meeting Attendance Scholarships of up to USD 2,000. 

The amount of the scholarship awarded will vary based on travel distance/time.

The application process for the ISPN meeting attendance scholarship 2026 is now open!
The deadline to submit your application is 10 June 2026.

The ISPN Meeting Attendance Scholarship is to be used towards registration, travel and accommodation for the ISPN 2026 Annual Meeting in Cairo, Egypt, 7-11 October 2026.

The scholarship will only transferred (via bank transfer) after you have attended the ISPN 2026 Annual Meeting and by the end of 2026. No payments will be made before the meeting.

Eligibility

To apply for the ISPN Meeting Attendance Scholarship you should fulfil the following criteria and complete the online submission application form:

• Submit an abstract for the meeting through the meeting website https://ispnmeeting.org/submit-your-abstract/, which needs to be accepted for presentation (abstract submission deadline: 20 April 2026)
  
  
• Applicants should be members of the ISPN (Note: Student members are not eligible for this scholarship) – If you are not yet an ISPN member, please join ISPN > 
• You should come from a low or lower-middle income country per World Bank classification – You will be requested to upload a proof of annual income during the application 
• You have preferably not received any previous ISPN support 
• To apply, you should be actively working in or professionally involved with pediatric neurosurgery. 
• You need to provide a written letter of recommendation (head of department or ISPN member)

You will only receive the Scholarship (and only via bank transfer) after attending the meeting.

Please note that you should be ISPN membership to be eligible for the scholarship. Therefore, please join ISPN as a member before applying.

Timing

Please submit your abstract by 20 April 2026. We’ll let you know the result at the beginning of June 2026.

You can submit your scholarship application until Wednesday, 10 June 2026.

We’ll share the outcome of your scholarship application by 1 July 2026.
