Welcome to the 12th Spine Update cadaveric workshop & case forum which will be in Riyadh – Saudi Arabia between 29 – 30 December 2022.

This event is a continuation of successful previous conferences and workshops (the Spine Update) and part of the ongoing collaboration between the Saudi Spine Society (SSS) and the Saudi Association of Neurological Surgery (SANS).

The First day (December 29th, 2022) of the event will be dedicated to hands-on spine surgery workshop on fresh cadavers and Realists model technologies.

The theme of the case forum on the second day (December 30th, 2022) is” Degenerative spinal diseases, challenges and updates”. The case forum will involve interactive case discussions that span different degenerative spine pathologies.

Minimally Invasive Spine and Enabling Technologies Symposium

This unique course will provide a comprehensive overview of new and less invasive techniques with and without stereotactic navigation for the operative treatment of spinal disorders.

Proponents and critics of MIS surgery will discuss the pros and cons of MIS approaches, establishing the skills essential in selecting appropriate patients for MIS surgery.
